 Nero the Sable

you shall above all things be glad and young
For if you're young, whatever life you wear

it will become you;and if you are glad
whatever's living will yourself become.
Girlboys may nothing more than boygirls need:
i can entirely her only love

whose any mystery makes every man's
flesh put space on;and his mind take off time

that you should ever think, may god forbid
and (in his mercy) your true lover spare:
for that way knowledge lies, the foetal grave
called progress,and negation's dead undoom.

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance
-E.E. Cummings

Seriously, this is my favorite poet. He is such a pervert but I think he has some nice romantic things that get me in the drawing mood. This is another picture from my story, “Confessionale Dell'elevatore” right before the elevator door closes.

I probably should have mentioned this in the last picture. I’ve started drawing Nero and Weiss with longer faces (you probably noticed if you looked at the rest of my junk) – which I think really… really works with my style of drawing in a good way. I used to give them squat faces which I think was an improvement to some of the crud I used to do. This longer look really achieves the pretty-boy look I’m going for a lot better than just adding longer eye lashes and whatnot.

I’m not trying to be all like: I’m the man or anything. I just think it’s starting to look a little better. I swear I hate some of the crud I put up on here and it’s hard to say: “I’m proud of this” I just don’t say it because I could whine all day about how bad or what I think I did wrong.

I’m not horribly proud of this one either… but I drew the last picture like this and I wanted to see if I could do it again. Fortunately for me, I can do it. Some of the styles I try I can never seem to grasp all the way.

Didn't you say before that you had trouble with Nero's suit? This looks awesome~

Nero looks so cunning. :giggle:
But he still doesn't have that part of his mask on that covers up his mouth. You just HATE that part, doncha? *wink*

Yeah - I hate covering people's faces up for some reason. XD I like seeing what's underneith I guess hehe.

Thank you for the compliment hehe. I tried my hardest to get his clothes as nice as I could.

I usually have lots of problems with Nero's clothes. :giggle: Which is why I almost always made him naked. I haven't attempted it in a while though - maybe I could try again?

I think you should try again, indeed~
